Processing of Your Personal Data – Purposes and Legal Bases
Data Processing on Our Websites
Log Files
When you visit our websites, log files are created and stored for 56 days. The following data is collected:
- Information about the type of browser used by your device and its version
- The operating system used by your device
- Your internet service provider (ISP)
- The IP address of your device
- Date and time of access to our website
- Website from which you accessed our website
- Address accessed (URL)
- Websites that you access via our websites
Photos
Photos of us and our performances are published on our websites for the purpose of external presentation. The legal basis for the publication of the following photos of adults on our websites is the legitimate interest described below in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR:
- Photos related to sporting activities (dance training, dance performances, dance shows, workshops, etc.) and the associated event framework based on our legitimate interest in reporting on (sporting) events,
- Photos of the audience who attended the event or photos in which the persons appear only as accessories, based on our legitimate interest in reporting on the event and its success.
You have the right to object to the use of such a photo in which you appear, in accordance with Article 21(1) of the GDPR. We will check whether there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms. If not, the photo in question will be deleted. Other photos in which an adult is the focus or in which only this person was specifically photographed we will only publish with the consent of this person (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). This consent can be revoked at any time for the future.
Further Data Processing
We process personal data on the basis of data protection regulations in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and, where applicable, the state data protection laws of the individual federal states. The data of the following groups of persons is processed for the purpose of fulfilling tasks.
Specifically, this means:
- Customer data is processed for the purpose of executing and managing the contractual relationship or the pre-contractual relationship, as well as for contact requests and communication on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Storage Period
The personal data we store will be deleted in accordance with legal requirements. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for the processing purpose, consent is revoked, or other permissions expire.
Data that must still be retained for commercial or tax law reasons, for example, or whose storage is still necessary for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims, will be deleted as soon as this is no longer the case.
Rights of Affected Persons
When we process your personal data, you have the following rights as affected person:
- the right to information about the processed data and to a copy,
- the right to rectification if we process incorrect data about you,
- the right to erasure, unless there are still exceptions that apply as to why we still store the data, such as retention obligations or limitation periods
- the right to restriction of processing,
- the right to withdraw consent to data processing at any time,
- the right to object to processing in the public interest or for legitimate interests,
- the right to data portability,
- the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that we are not processing your data properly. The Brandenburg State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information is responsible for us. However, if you are located in another federal state or outside Germany, you can also contact the data protection authority there.

Our websites contain links to third-party websites (so-called external links); these are marked with the symbol. When you click on an external link, certain data is transferred to the linked external websites (see chapter “Processing of Your Personal Data – Purposes and Legal Bases”). These external websites have their own privacy policies, for which we assume no responsibility or liability.
